Carlos and Crystal León, the husband-and-wife duo behind The Radish Hotel, combine their lifelong passions for gardening, food, and community. Crystal, with her background in nutrition and garden education, and Carlos, a chef and restaurateur, have been gardening for over half their lives. Together, they’ve managed urban garden projects, farm stands, and spoken nationally about food justice in underserved communities. The Radish Hotel reflects their shared commitment to cultivating roots—both literally in the garden and figuratively in their community. What began as a way to nourish their own family has blossomed into a mission to feed, educate, and inspire others.
