Sequined Ornament Workshop - Beck Baumann (Nov 7)

Join Reno artist Beck Baumann for an afternoon of sparkle, texture, and creativity as you create one of her signature sequined eyeball ornaments. Inspired by vintage ornament-making techniques and embellished with layers of sequins, fringe, and beads, these handcrafted pieces are unlike anything you'll find in stores.
During this hands-on workshop, Beck will guide you through her unique process while you work with a variety of sequined materials, including sequin fabrics, trims, fringe, and loose sequins. Using pins and specialty techniques, you'll transform a simple form into a vibrant, dimensional ornament that's entirely your own.
No previous experience is necessary, and all tools and materials are provided. By the end of class, you'll head home with your finished 4-inch fringed ornament and a display stand to enjoy throughout the holidays and beyond.
Sip wine, enjoy light snacks, and spend an afternoon creating something playful, unexpected, and completely one of a kind.
