Join Camille for a laid-back, skill-building night for anyone wanting to get better at doing kids’ hair. If you made it through Pints & Ponytails, this is your next move.
Braids & Brews is all about building on the basics, refining your technique, and learning a few new styles you can actually pull off at home. We’ll start with a quick refresh, then move into cleaner parts, better tension, and braids that hold up through a full day of kid chaos.
There’s plenty of time to practice, ask questions, and get real-time help. Struggling with a certain hair type? Can’t get your braids to stay tight? This is your chance to figure it out with guidance that makes sense. You’ll also leave with a goody bag of hair tools so you can keep practicing at home instead of wrestling with mystery rubber bands from the junk drawer.
Expect a relaxed, no-pressure environment, a few laughs, and the chance to meet other people learning the ropes too.
We’ll have local beer and light snacks available. You’re also welcome to bring your own food and additional beverages if you’d like.

Please note: This workshop is designed for dads only, no kiddos needed. We’ll have mannequin heads available for plenty of hands-on practice.
No experience necessary, just bring yourself and be ready to learn something useful.
