Ceramic Ornament Workshop – Spoon & Sprig Studio (Dec 8)

Join Adrienne of Spoon & Sprig Studio for a cozy holiday workshop all about painting, experimenting, and creating your own ceramic ornaments.
You’ll paint three ceramic ornaments, with several different shapes available to choose from.
We’ll start the evening together with your first ornament as Adrienne walks you through a design and teaches basic underglaze painting techniques and a few tricks you can carry into your next pieces.
Then, you’ll have free rein.
For ornaments two and three, bring ideas you’ve been wanting to try, drawings, tracings, stencils, or other inspiration to work from. You can also completely wing it and paint freehand. Adrienne will be there to help translate your ideas onto ceramic, offer guidance, and help you troubleshoot along the way.
After class, Adrienne will take all three ornaments back to her studio to glaze and fire them. Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup at The Cut before Christmas, ready to hang on your tree, give as handmade gifts, or keep all three for yourself.

- Duration: 2 hours
- Price: $90 per person
- Ages: 14+
- Includes: Three ceramic ornaments, your choice of available shapes, underglazes, instruction, glazing and firing, beverages, wine, and snacks
- Bring: Inspiration for your second and third ornaments if you have it! Drawings, printed images, tracings, stencils, or other references are welcome, but absolutely not required.
- No experience necessary. Your first ornament is designed to teach you the basics before you create your next two however you’d like.
Spaces are limited, so join us in the studio for a cozy evening of painting, experimenting, and making something completely your own.
