Craft Your Own Cutting Board - Owen Woodworking - June 24

Local wood artist Owen Mercer is one of our bestselling makers, and now you can learn directly from him. In this workshop, you’ll design your own 11x17inch cutting / charcuterie board (a $180 value) just in time for summer!
You will start by selecting a variety of wood types and laying out a pattern in a 11"x17" rectangle. Once your design is complete you will glue and clamp the boards. Then, choose from a variety of board shapes and customize your board with an optional resin addition (designs coming soon!), deciding exactly where on the board it will go.
As you design, Owen will share tips on wood, layout, and functional art. Boards will be finished and ready for pickup before July 4 for use at all your summer BBQs!

- Duration: ~2 hours (stay as long as you need to get your board just right)
- Price: $160 per person
- Ages: 14+
- Includes: All materials, custom 11x17"ish board design, choice of woods + resin detail, instruction from Owen, drinks + light snacks
- Pickup: Completed boards will be ready before July 4
- No experience necessary — just bring your creative spirit!
