Intro to Block Printing - Ian Blackhall Scott (June 12)

Join Ian Blackhall Scott for an introduction to block printing and create your own custom 4x6 linocut print. If you’ve admired Ian’s work in the shop or joined one of his sip and paint classes, this is a chance to explore a new medium with the same approachable, hands-on style.

In this workshop, you’ll design, carve, and print your own artwork using traditional linocut techniques. Ian will guide you through the carving process, show you how to ink and print your block, and share tips for getting clean, bold results. The process is simple to learn, a little meditative, and incredibly satisfying.

You’ll experiment with a variety of ink colors and leave with a small print you can frame, gift, or turn into a card.

The workshop space is yours for two hours, with plenty of flexibility to work at your own pace. We’ll provide everything you need, along with guidance throughout.

Sip wine, enjoy light snacks, and settle in for a creative night at elevation. Feel free to bring your own beverages and food if you prefer.
